Cromology the art of professional painting

Three Minutes to Understand

Sustainable Production

Respect for the environment is a key element of Cromology’s culture.

Alongside our other values, universal respect guides our decisions, particularly with regard to the environment, as we are always conscious that we are only borrowing the Earth from our children.

Cromology’s environmental strategy is underpinned by three main pillars:

  1. Strengthening our environmental management system based on ISO 14001. Seven production facilities have already been certified and we are working to extend this to our remaining facilities.
  2. Optimising our use of resources by improving energy efficiency and controlling our consumption of water and raw materials. In 2014, for example, we reduced by 18% our energy consumption per tonne of production.
  3. Limiting our impact on the environment primarily by reducing our waste. In 2014, we reduced by 23% our CO2 emissions.
