Cromology the art of professional painting

Three Minutes to Understand

About us

Cromology is a world player in the decorative paint sector. The Group ranks in second place in France and is the market leader in Southern Europe (Italy, Spain and Portugal).

With 9 research laboratories, 13 production facilities and 10 logistics platforms, Cromology designs and produces cutting-edge, professional decorative paints, sells and distributes its innovative products in more than 50 countries around the world, with a direct presence in 9 of them (Argentina, Belgium, France, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey).

Cromology operates its own distribution network of almost 410 integrated stores, Couleurs de Tollens, Zolpan, Robbialac and Colori di Tollens Bravo, which serve more than 50,000 professional clients and hundreds of thousands of private customers. Cromology also relies on over 6,500 partner points of sale operated by independent distributors and more than 2,000 DIY stores.

With almost 4,000 employees, Cromology achieves revenues of around 750 million euros.

In each of its markets, Cromology’s commercial brands are the expression of our professionalism, our technical & aesthetic know-how and our innovation capacity (25% of our sales are generated by products developed within the last three years). Cromology has acquired them through over 250 years of experience of traditions in countries that have elevated the decoration of living environments to the rank of a cultural art, from the Flemish coast to the Swiss mountains at Tollens, Zolpan, Claessens and ICP. To the Mediterranean basin at MaxMeyer, Alp, Robbialac, Revetón or Arcol, all the way to the Southern Cone at Colorín.
