Initiatives
Supplier partnerships
The company manages its relationships with suppliers with a focus on risk management and the sustainability of the supply chain. Local suppliers are given priority. Strategic suppliers are assessed annually on their CSR commitments and may be subject to an on-site audit. The procurement processes are certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Cromology has formalised its requirements in the form of a Partner Code of Conduct, which all suppliers are required to sign.
User health and safety
96 per cent of the Group’s paints are water-based, which minimises risks to users. Safety Data Sheets are systematically updated and made available. The R&D department manages a chemical substitution programme — replacing between 10 and 15 substances per year — to ensure paints are increasingly safe.
Integrity and compliance
Cromology promotes a corporate culture based on integrity, fairness and transparency. All compliance policies — anti-corruption, fair competition, whistleblowing, data protection and conflicts of interest — are approved by the Executive Committee in each country. An anonymous reporting platform is available to all stakeholders. Business conduct training is compulsory for all new employees.
Product and service quality
All manufacturing and logistics sites are ISO 9001 certified. Manufacturing rece s and quality management system procedures ensure that reproducible batches can be produced. Cromology monitors the OTIF indicator – on-time delivery in full – on a weekly basis, with plans for continuous improvement.
