How did you evolve within Cromology ?

I graduated in process engineering and joined Cromology’s Arcol subsidiary in Morocco in 2011 as EHS Manager. At this position, I worked to lay down a safety culture through training initiatives for our EHS focal points. The aim was to align with international standards.

I also led projects to bring our production and logistics sites up to standards: in particular fire-fighting, electrical standards and prevention of falls from heights. The results have paid off: in 2015 we obtained OHSAS 18001 certification (health and safety management), replaced in 2021 by ISO 45001.

In 2018 we obtained ISO 9001 Quality certification. This certification project enabled me to operate in the quality processes linked to all Arcol’s activities: Supply chain, Distribution and Trade.
Since 2020, I’ve been EHS, R&D and Logistics Manager. I manage the quality control teams (3 people) and steer the R&D team’s activities in terms of product launches, improvements to existing products, and approvals of new raw materials.
For the logistics I make sure to reduce and optimize Slow Movers which enable us to maximize customer satisfaction and avoid product shortages.
Today, I’m involved in our production site renovation project: thanks to our committed teams, we’re modernizing our site and ensuring that it complies with Group standards. We’re also working towards ISO 14001 (environmental) certification, which we expect to get very soon.

What do you like in your job ?

I love challenges and diversity of the projects driven by the Group. I learn on a daily basis and develop new skills with each new project, in contact with the diverse teams with whom I have the opportunity to collaborate.
