Damien’s career path
Damien began with a DUT (university technical diploma) in Business Management and Administration, followed by a work-study bachelor’s degree during which he worked for SNCF and Santé & Cie as a payroll manager. While pursuing his master’s degree, he wanted to explore another sector. Through word of mouth, he joined Cromology as a work-study HR Development Officer.
His role?
“It was very varied! I worked on numerous HR projects: digitizing pay slips, organizational charts, updating documents for employees, etc. I discovered lots of new things, and that’s what made the experience so rewarding. I learned a lot and gained independence and confidence.”
What qualities are necessary to do your job?
“A lot of rigor and organization, but also curiosity. You have to enjoy understanding processes and applying them methodically. Fortunately, everything is well structured in my department!”
